Not My Self Fulfilling Prophesy


Your self fulfilling prophesy is not my self fulfilling prophesy.
  Not to sound ungracious or uncaring, but I have my nervous system to protect.  

I guess that's just my side of stubborn. I don't want to add more harm to my life when I am working on undoing decades of harm.  Which is how my Ebook came to be.

In one section of the book I discuss how difficult it is when sick people keep each other sick by the repetition of outdated, untrue health information.  

Getting back to the self fulfilling prophesy.  This study here from the University of Colorado demonstrates how our brains can interpret a stimulus to be more painful than it needs to be.  

If you expect pain, you will be in pain.  If you expect sickness you will get sick.  This is the self fulfilling prophesy.  

My son and husband have been sick at the same time with obnoxious colds that keep them home in bed.  I did not get sick while they were recovering.  Why?  Because  didn't expect to. If I kept my schedule balanced and didn't overreact to the situation, I did fine. 

I can pinpoint the times I was under the weather and knew exactly the stress that put me over the edge.  Getting ready for a trip once I had a cold.  I don't like planning trips and it makes me overthink things.  I had a  major flu when I began my outpatient internship.  I was angry because it was not going smoothly.  My dad had just died five months earlier, and I just wanted to finally graduate. 

Currently, the acute illness everyone is talking about gets too much media play.  The news outlets are showing the worst of the worst so your nervous system can't get out of fight or flight.  Unless you turn it off. 

I have chosen to disregard the "chicken little" reports that the sky is falling. The hospitals that are overrun with patients are singled out and highlighted.  I know that is not happening in the entire country.  Sometimes I have to decide that not every news story is my business.  I can only help the people around me, in  my town.  if other places have mismanaged their resources, what can I personally do about it?

There are so many statistical goof ups where the CDC is changing the numbers.  Podcasts interviewers are pointing out that the death counts have remained the same year by year and world wide the illness is mild for 99.5%.

Front line doctors are trying to talk about their successes and share with the public how simple medicines are very effective.  I don't like it that these positive stories are quickly ignored.  We deserve to hear second and third opinions. 

I also understand what makes someone succumb to the cytokine storm that scientist are making a buzz about.  Sadly, many people have been misinformed about preventive health or ignored their health altogether and are suffering from severe signs of acute toxic reactions. 

My take home message here is that I have been working through my own coping strategies to protect my health and shield myself from too many people crying wolf.  I will teach others how to plan their own coping, as well. 

As I've said before, I don't want to wind up my nervous so badly that it takes its revenge and harms my health.  I am taking care of my nervous system. 

I have a plan in place to move my brain, feed my brain and talk to my brain.  

I will share my strategy in Brain Sense Tele-Health sessions. 

I do understand how the brain can memorize patterns that can backfire and cause someone to become sick. I am doing the reverse. 

The self fulfilling prophesy I want to employ is one that manages stress, makes peace with the modern world and instills an unplugged relaxation routine.

Viruses Don't Matter When Nature is Respected

 


This is a follow up post from a video I made last week highlighting particular quotes Royal Lee, and Weston A. Price made during their careers about those pesky diseases.

Currently in my county as of December 7, 2020 the number of active C V cases compared to the entire county population = 00.050%
There are 17 in the hospital, (0.022% of the entire county population).  There are 179 staffed beds (average), so 9.5% of the hospital has positive tested individuals under their care.  Many are discharged in a matter of days.   "Worldometer" still shows 99.5% of cases are mild. 

Do you wonder why only chronically sick people are at risk?  

Do you wonder why these illnesses come and go with the seasons?

I have wondered about this my entire adult life but really it wasn't on my radar.  People seem to get sick together, on occasion, but not everybody.  We need to keep asking these important questions.

I thought about looking into the past to read what Royal Lee and Weston A. Price thought about it.  They contributed amazing information regarding nutrition and health, yet, it seems to be dismissed in our modern time.  

The population is not healthy, that's for sure.  It seems we are a sicker nation. There are multiple reasons for this as layers of stress are piled on us every year.  Rather than put the blame on a partially understood viral fragment, we should be reducing unnecessary stress and building up our tissue resilience.

Our many layers of stress come from air pollution, pollution in our food, work stress, travel stress, toxins in our medicines, news media always blaring bad news, etc. 

With these summaries of quotes from the videos, I offer a key correlation between food quality and resilience. 

Royal Lee

Many of these excerpts are taken from 

From Soil To Supplement, A Course in Food, Diet, and Nutrition: Taught by Dr. Royal Lee, by Mark Anderson

Fever accompanies acute illness.  Fevers are especially seen in children.  Here are some excerpts from Royal Lee regarding fevers:

1- Calcium bicarbonate deficiency is seen with recurrent fevers

2- Calcium deficiency fevers are seen during rapid bone growth in children

3- Pasteurized milk causes fevers

4- Calcium deficiency is seen in nervous children and children coughing at night

5- There are good reasons to believe that no virus infection can occur unless the calcium levels of the body fluids have dropped below a certain limit

6- Exogenous sugar in the diet promotes susceptibility to virus, or bacterial disease

What about polio?

7- "Soft drinks and ice cream" contribute to polio since glucose, syrup, impairs the assimilation of calcium

8- Dr. Benamin Sandler is mentioned by Dr. Royal Lee in regards to Dr. Sandler's book: Diet Prevents Polio (1949)  Dr. Sandler also noted tuberculosis patients improved when sugar was taken out of the diet. 

9- Royal Lee also found that a particular nutrient triad of ionized calcium, Vitamin F, and Vitamin C Complex helps the body "knock out" flu, viruses, and bacterium.  Read here from Judy Stone.  (Don't know what Vitamin F is?  Ask me.)

More from Dr. Royal Lee in 1955:  

10- In all parts of the globe where the native population had changed from their natural foods to the use of commercial products, there began the infiltration of those dreaded diseases, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and influenza ... exactly parallel to the increase in their use of commercial foods. It made no difference whether the change took place in a high valley in the Swiss Alps or in an island of the sea in the Eastern or Western hemisphere. The identically same results followed the introduction of commercial foods of civilized man.

Even Malaria: 

11- In recent tests mosquitos refused to bite persons who were well supplied with Vitamin B1.  He states that malnutrition is a basic cause of malaria.

Weston A. Price

What did Weston A. Price find out from his research?  He studied various groups of people who were isolated from modern agriculture and food processing.

1- Weston A. Price didn't agree with the idea that tuberculosis was contagious or inherited.  (He wasn't the only doctor with this opinion, either.) He believed it was due to poor lung development when living on a diet of processed foods.  These people also had poor facial bone development as well. Dead tissue in the lungs were consumed by bacteria that become proliferative as the need arises to digest this unwanted tissue.  (Even Royal Lee called germs scavengers) 

My editorial inserted here: The body needs to be able to detox and expel wastes.  When this important function is hindered, disease can overtake the body.

2- TB seemed prevalent in villages where thatched roofs  lacked  chimneys.  Yet when the health departments rectified that and installed chimneys to clear out the smoke from the living quarters, TB cases did not decrease.  It was due to the processed diets that the villagers transitioned to over time. 

3- Native Africans did not get malaria, yet European tourists did.

This information can be obtained from The Contagion Myth by Thomas Cowan and Sally Fallon, Chapter 3.  

My take home message here is that we should be asking why are stronger people not getting sick during this current acute illness crisis?  What stands out as a major difference?

End Your Day With An Energy Surplus

 

I've got pretty amazing energy tonight.  I am going to walk the dog soon for her nightly stroll and I am looking forward to it. 

I think back to the times I was exhausted by 3 PM waiting for my second wind.  Also I would feel  ready for bed before dinner and remain unmotivated all night. I had to talk myself into doing one final chore before bed.  

This was going on for decades.  Decades.  I thought it was normal....  How many times a day do you talk yourself into getting a task done? Do you do it  with  a smile?  Along with the crappy energy I've noticed I had a miserable mood.  

I got my blood sugar under control, finally.  I had no idea I had blood sugar problems.  This is potential disease ignored by the mainstream. 

I had to do some pretty drastic things to get where I am today.  But it's so much better.   And, by the way.  It wasn't drastic at all.  It was necessary steps to health.  But most people have a twisted understanding of normal.  Which makes it harder to try some life style changes especially when they fail.  

That's why I now teach people about the four levels of function of the nervous system and how they can evaluate their "hang ups" at each level so better results are attained. 

One new change I incorporated three days ago is I am trying a new detox approach.  I expected to be tired, but I feel ready to go even though bed time is soon.  (I'll reveal more about the detox later.) 

It's nice to end your day with an energy surplus.  (I am still going to bed at my normal time.  I won't push it.) How about you?  Do you feel the same way?

A Year of Brain Drain: How to Win It Back

One year ago we first heard about a strange illness in China.  We wondered and waited because, naturally, if you listen to the news long enough you will be told it is going to spread around the globe like wildfire.  

Did you quietly wait and wonder?  Did you recall the MERS or SARS1 episodes in years past?  Can't remember?

Were you listening to speculation as papers were published without peer review at lightning speed?

Now, we are constantly being berated to "keep your distance" but huddle together with a mask.  Or you're just being told to wear a mask no matter what.  People are worried about their jobs and their children's mental health. People are being asked to do things without proper discussion or freedom of choice.

What happens when you lose your ability to choose?  Recall the mouse studies from your psychology class.  Learned helplessness.  We know this is destructive to the nervous system.

What's the most dangerous thing that happened during this past year?

Nervous system damage and immune suppression through  chronic burn out of the fight or flight response. 

I implore everyone to learn how to not let their own nervous systems kill them. 

We have a chronic problem.  We've always had it.  But now it is worse. It's called stress.  But now the stress is piled high.   While the Limbic System is very efficient with fight or flight, it can become too efficient and overwhelming.  This makes us more susceptible to illness, especially acute sickness. 

To switch to a positive note, you have the ability to calm this part of the nervous system.  Follow the BFA Protocol to do this.  

Get your adjustments.  Get the right nutrition and concentrate on detoxing.  Train your brain.  Also, find your support group of like minded thinkers.  This is very valuable.

Co Vid: Exploiting the Sick - Keeping Them Sick

I wish I wasn't so preoccupied with the overblown stories coming from the media and our g o v e r n m e n t s.   We have real healing to do.  

Don't get distracted. Do the right things that actually keep you healthy. 

I appreciate Ivor Cummins' evaluation of the data in this video.


People already sick happen to die with a positive co vid test.  Interesting, especially when the P C R test is inappropriate for diagnosing, but it helps the hospitals and health departments feel they are doing necessary work.  

Over and over we hear those with diabetes and circulatory problems are the most at risk.  People with Vitamin D deficiencies are more likely to be hospitalized. 

Eighty percent of deaths (80%) are nursing home residents. 

What is the common denominator? They are chronically sick people who have been encouraged for decades to stay sick on maintenance medications and they are probably the most sedentary portion of the population. I don't agree with this approach.  It's pure laziness to avoid teaching people what makes them unhealthy and then keep them stuck in sickness. This is exploitation. 

Even worldometer.com has shown 99% of the globe has had mild sickness. 

Forty years of mask data show masks make no difference. 

I wish I wasn't so preoccupied with the cult like responses to an illness that is clearly influenced by all the other modern stresses we are facing.  For example: the inflammatory chemicals in our food, air, water, and medicines are making people sicker.  For folks who don't understand the importance of detoxing, they are at risk of many body malfunction not just a so-called "virus."  The older we get, the more we accrue toxins.  It doesn't have to be this way. 

Like I said, I wish this wasn't such a distraction. inflated fear floods your body with fight or flight neuro and endocrine chemicals.  This is one major contributor to poor health.  The brain never rests from the sympathetic explosion.  

I want you to take a fresher, more balanced look at the co vid problem and then concentrate on healing your burned out vagus nerve.   Ivor Cummins can put it in to a balanced perspective for you here in his video.  Then you can work on your brain / vagus healing with me.

The body-mind partnership is intertwined.  Our emotions can bring us health by initiating healing endorphins or damaging stress hormones, depending on the emotional state we are in.  Also, any bodily damage, deficiency, or pain will incite emotional stress, as well.  We don't worry about which one came first.  We want to balance all that our body experiences.  

When we understand which part of the nervous system is active, (because they both can't occur together) we can make better decisions that support our overall healing.  

Our subconscious, in it's efficiency, takes an habitual, auto-pilot control during 95% of our day.  Which pattern do you think is more prominent in your life?  And would you like to strike a different balance?

Diary of Healing - Memorize This

 

This is my hand written chart.  It is no frills.  I haven't attempted any publisher programs, but I'd love to make a full size decorative poster some day.

The information is important, regardless of the lack of color and shininess. 

We will use this chart to map out your own personal health journey.  Each box connected by arrows requires your self introspection so you can make the important choices that boost up your health.   This is where you fill in your story. 

The format is simple, however the difficulty that sneaks in is our ignorance of deep sources of stress/injury, or our blatant denial of these stresses and dangers to our health.

When you come in for your maintenance visit we can discuss the importance of each box and how they apply to your situation.  Personal growth is the only path to healing.  Be ready to grow. 

Understanding why you have symptoms should lighten your mood, get rid of your anxiousness over pain and discomfort.  Everything the body does is logical based on its innate response to all stresses.  (#4 of the Seven Living Principles)

Doctors Who Jumped Ship: David Brownstein (Part 12)

 Dr. Brownstein is BAAAAAAAACK!


Who else made the list?

He was never gone, but the FTC told him he had to take down his videos showing happy patients who got better fast with Dr. David Brownstein's natural approaches.  You'll notice I highlighted one of his videos in April and then it was removed from the internet. Luckily I summarized the interview fairly well in my blog posting.  I was so impressed by his positive attitude I wanted my folks to know there are good things happening that don't make it to the big corporations' news cycles. 

He tells his story in this interview with Dr. Mercola.  When the FTC said Dr. Brownstein's treatments were not peer reviews and publish, he surprised them (probably) when he soon after got his findings published.

Here is his study:  A Novel Approach to Treating COVID-19 Using Nutritional and Oxidative Therapies

Here is my previous post about Dr. Brownstein back in March 2020. I was commenting on his positive outcome with one of his patients and I found it to be very promising and uplifting. 

Nearly 30 years ago he noticed that most people are deficient in Vit A, D, C.  He also noted that iodine and ozone are very helpful in supporting the immune system.

Let me emphasize that 30 years ago he noted that there were serious nutritional deficiencies in the population.  (It hasn't improved any since then.)

If I remember correctly, only one person had to go the hospital briefly and the rest of his patients all recovered at home. And there were no deaths.  Fantastic news.  

Now, I realize going the the hospital is not a fun time for people.  Just waiting for your turn is a big stressor.  If you do some simple preventive practices with our life style we can feel confident that our bodies can handle the seasonal changes.

Doctors Who Jumped Ship: Robert Cywes (Part 11)



A medical genocide.  This is his descriptor and I agree 100%

Improperly used testing in order to sell more drugs.  They serve no other purpose than to ignore the real cause of the problem.  If you don't understand the metabolic functions of your cells and organs, you may be duped into taking medications that make your health worse.

"We've been conned again," says Dr. Cywes.  He has jumped ship ship because he realized his own food addiction was not addressed going the usual medical route.

Dr. Cywes is a bariatric surgeon who has gone the education route in order to help people avoid surgery.  In fact, he says bariatric surgery only a success for one to three years. 

A lot of patients look to weight loss surgeries to help control diabetes.  This gives them a head start and a feeling of progress which may be necessary for someone depending on his or her situation. But he says the surgery does not lead to behavioral change unless the sugar addiction is addressed. 

He'd like to see the processed food/starch/sugar addiction addressed first.  And that was him at one time.  

In the video above, he tackles the misinformation people hear about certain lab tests that measure fatty acids in the blood.  And he's not happy with the drug companies that push a chemical solution for a life style problem.  He even explains that the numbers may improve on your follow up blood work, but the potential for heart attack has not changed. 

He feels lasting change comes from your own decisions and not what's on the shelf at the pharmacy.

I felt the need to create Covid Chameleon: Hiding the Real Sickness because the fear is too much. I know not everyone is in a state of fear, but the pushy news media is no longer a useful entity anymore and I'm really demanding a 2nd opinion to be out there and respected.

Set Yourself Free

Glad you're here.  Make it a good week, good month, good year, and more...

Just want to focus briefly on the most important ingredient to changing your health, and that is to keep expanding your mind.

Poor health, means stuckness.  How's that for a word?  You are stuck.

The nervous system gets stuck, that's for sure. 

The first line of my mission statement is that I want to expose people to life saving information.  And it tends to be the opposite of what we grew up believing.  When I encourage you to expand your mind, I ask you to consider letting go of an earlier belief, especially if it is keeping you stuck in a health situation you are unhappy about. 

I'm not going to go into all the outdated and un-serving ideas here in this blog.  Come on in and we'll chat about it. The life saving information has to deal with stopping the stressful things that are causing harm to the body.

I am happy to adjust everyone's spines.  It is a craft I have worked on for decades.  But the people who benefit the most from their adjustments are the ones who reconsider old ideas that have set them up negatively.  

Only you can heal yourself.  Only you can expand your mind.  We can help each other.  We can support each other, but in the end all your healing comes from you.

Doctors Who Jumped Ship: When Doctors Need Their Own Security Detail (Part 10)

 


I listen to podcasts while I walk my dog.  I download them onto an old cell phone that I can't ruin, since it already has a cracked screen.  Lately I've been uninterested in the recent feeds so I searched for some of my favorite peeps who give informative talks.  

I found an older interview from June 4, 2018 with Dr. Suzanne Humphries. You will recall I wrote about her in part 5 of Doctors Who Jumped Ship.

What perked my interest is her personal story about receiving death threats back in 2018.  I had read about it briefly a while back, but listening to her talk about the poor investigating of her complaint and her announcement that she now has her own private security made me realize how important these outspoken doctors are. 

Even Dr. Andrew Kaufman mentions he knows his life could be in danger.

What you must know about them is their resolve to keep going.  They have an inner strength that is so impressive.  Would I carry on with such optimism?  Would I have the courage to do the same?  I only write about this on my blog.  I have a small audience.  I have a fair amount of confidence when I am talking to others who agree with me.  I am happy to talk with folks who show a genuine interest is hearing my side of the story.  

We are living in a country that espouses free speech.  We are allowed a second opinion.  Or is that not the case?

When you need your own private security for telling the truth about medical procedures that cause harm, what has happened to society?  

We want health.  

We don't want to be mislead.  

And we don't want to be sickened because the truth is hidden.  


Continue your search for real empowering information.  You may be surprised how easily we've been fooled for generations. 

Thank you for reading.  I plan to stay positive and upbeat.  Healthy people are able to assert themselves.  And you need that in a country where the culture has drifted away from common sense and self autonomy.

The Language / Belief Barrier -- Pick the Side that Promotes Growth


 I've been living in my own world lately.  One reason: being anywhere other than a grocery store is shunned right now.  If it weren't for  visiting friends  at each others' homes, life might be extra isolating.  

On a side note, home entertaining was probably more common a generation ago.  People enjoyed close contact.  They were not glued to the TV.  Fancy dinners were not needed.  You only had to gather in the living room, kitchen or porch.  We shared information face to face.  We did not listen to biased voices we now call news anchors.  We trusted each other because we knew each other's personal stories.  We even worshiped together at the same local church. 

I have cocooned myself away from the fear and dogma of the germ theory.  It's just not how I wish to live. My office is a place where you can let your hair down and not feel as if fearful eyes are glaring at you.  You come in, reignite your spine's gateway to the brain, and go on living a purposeful life. 

That's what  my office is all about. 

I have avoided the inflated numbers when we know the test is inappropriate.  I won't watch the sensationalized news that focuses on the outrageous.  

If you revisit an earlier post from June 13, 2020, you will recall this quote:

"The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words."

The words we pick make a difference. And this quote is still timely.  I've said in the office you don't want to lose weight, but lose inflammation.  It changes your outlook.  I've said you don't age, but you have more time to accrue toxins. Makes the goal more reasonable, yes?  You have more empowerment, yes?

I'm so done with the self preservation I've put myself through.  At times, I prefer to keep to myself rather than get sucked into the vibration of fear.  But part of me needs to go out there and help people melt away their fears.

How do we change people's opinions if we don't slowly chip away at their long held beliefs?    The belief barrier is very strong, yet this is an important time to ask the hard questions.  What if information you relied on for a long time has not actually served you?  Will you admit it?


When is it a good time to avoid people?

When is it a good time to engage people?

What is the balance?

When entering the "Feed Your Brain" Doorway, I ask you to stand firmly in your belief about the body's ability to self heal, so you can treat your body well.

Then, you are called to understand and admit you may be doing harm to your body.  You are open to clearing your plate of health facts that may turn out to be "old wives' tales."  Possibly you just weren't aware of the toxicity in the world.  Both mental and physical toxicity.  Even our body creates internal toxins as part of metabolic processes.  An inability to detox adds to the problem. 

Don't let the belief barrier hold you back from your best healing.  Be open to a state of growth, self improvement.  Allow your language to change to the positive spirit of self healing and self nurturing.  

It's not easy.  That's why I write about so much. It takes a new commitment. But it's worth the "growing pains."

Doctors Who Jumped Ship (Part 9: Thomas Cowan)

Dr. Cowan revealed in a recent newsletter that he believes California is not a good place to be for doctors.  He specifically said, "There is no future as a medical practitioner in California."  To me, that clearly sounds as if it is a terrible loss for the residents of the Golden State.  In fact, he explained in his newsletter that four complaints were made against him while he was practicing in California. 

He helped a cancer patient without using surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.  He spent a period of time on probation which also cost him quite a bit in legal expenses. Another time he had an old advertisement stating he accepted patients with a myriad of illnesses including cancer and that had to be dealt with. Fortunately, the issue was dropped.  Then, he was investigated for writing what he calls, "valid" medical exemptions for vaccines. And now he is being investigated for going against the mainstream definitions and protocols for C O V I D - 19.  

 Dr. Cowan is just very tired of the ongoing turmoil, my words.  His patients are obviously pleased and appreciative for his care and genuine interest.  I would love to have him as my doctor. But, for the state, his efforts are not appreciated. 

And this week, (July actually.  I'm late getting this blog post finished.) he drove across the country to move closer to his children and grandchildren.   The travel restrictions and other current threats to our freedoms solidified his decision.  Writing a heartbreaking letter to his patients he closed his practice.  

If you listen to Dr. Cowan's interviews about the drastic changes in the modern world putting our future at risk, or his investigations showing that the heart is not a pump, you realize he is thoughtful with everything he teaches.  He admits that a great deal of his medical training was not logical or sensible from day one as a medical student.  He felt compelled to not ignore the nagging questions and I believe his patients have been better off because of his desire to dissect every belief from all angles.

Just reading how Dr. Cowan broke the news to his patients shows you the troubling side of a system that can no longer be counted on as  helpful to the public.
 
From his website:

  • The office will close on June 30, 2020
  • Despite many months of trying, I could not find anyone to take over my practice. Sadly, I have no other doctor or health-care provider to suggest for my patients.   This is not to say there aren’t good practitioners of all sorts in the Bay Area, but there are none that I can, with all my heart, recommend to everyone.  I trust that each of you will find a good solution for your health-care needs.  
  • I am going to take all of July off, the first full month off in almost 40 years, but I will continue to answer emails and do my mentoring sessions. 
  • I will relinquish my medical license after July, with the plan to re-emerge as an unlicensed “health coach” or consultant.  This means that, starting in August, I will no longer be able to order tests, write prescriptions, make diagnoses or offer treatment plans.  I will, however, be able to talk to anyone who wishes to talk to me about my opinion on what might be best for them.  Frankly, I am looking forward to a new way of interacting with my friends, previously known as patients.  More details about how this will work will come soon.  
  • During June, July and maybe even August, Laura and Alyssa will answer calls and emails to help you get a copy of your chart, order prescriptions (you might want to get a year’s supply of whatever prescription you take, as soon a prescription from me will no longer be honored), order supplements or help you in any way possible with this transition.  All of the supplements I use and recommend will still be carried on our humanheartcosmicheart.com website.  This includes strophanthus, NADH and all the others.  In fact, in the coming months, our plan is to introduce new lines of supplements that I feel confident will actually take my “medicine” to a whole new level.  
  • During the month of June, as we pack up, I will continue to be available for phone consultations on the usual Tuesdays and Fridays.  I would love to speak to as many people as possible during this time.  Emails are also welcome.  
  • I will continue to be in touch indefinitely through blogs, webinars, interviews, my own podcast (coming soon), mentoring and perhaps another book or two. So please continue to subscribe to this email list and our new YouTube or Bitchute channels.
