Chiropractic Subluxation: Knowledge Saves Your Health

(Yahoo chiropractor auburn ny 13021)

The chiropractic adjustment is the star of the show when it comes to clearing the spine of subluxations.

The term subluxation has a very different and important meaning to chiropractors.  In the medical realm a subluxation is a partial dislocation in a joint.  In chiropractic it is a process describing how the body responds to stress with the spine as a central distributor of life saving information.

Clearly, we want our central information distributor to be working at its best.  While most health care practitioners see chiropractic as a treatment for back pain, chiropractors see the long term consequences of ignored subluxations as a contributor to auto-immune disorders.

We are concerned with auto-immune disorders because they are on the rise.

The subluxation process is a weakness and fixation in the spine that also weakens how the body stands up to stress.  The body will begin to attack itself, in a similar way that auto-immune diseases attack the body.  Somehow the message of healing is mixed up and degeneration replaces the healing response.

Subluxations do not only come from the spine.  Subluxations can be response from organ stress, muscle stress, or emotional stress.  Whenever there is inflammation, a toxic reaction, a fight or flight response, a subluxation will be noticed in the spinal joints.

A subluxation in a spinal joint sends signals to the brain that then creates one or more of the following:
  • pallor: pale skin due to decreased oxygen in the skin, and mucous membranes
  • nausea
  • dizziness
  • faintness
  • syncope
  • change in blood pressure (hmm... "they" say the cause of high blood pressure is unknown)
  • change in respiration (do you know anyone with chronic breathing problems?)
  • change in heart rate
  • reduced blood flow at the joint (this causes joint damage)
  • muslce spasm (painless)
  • sometimes pain

Pain is not always a reaction in subluxated joints, since pain is perceived in the brain with an emotional attachment.

Pain occurs when there is a sustained and intense stimulus on the body.  It can be from:
  • an injury,
  • chemical stress
  • dietary stress that impairs smooth muscle activity
  • emotional stress that sends brain chemicals down the spinal cord that disrupts body functions
  • a previously learned brain pattern that increases pain intensity for no reason or with minor injuries
With this knowledge you have the opportunity to take better care of your health.  When you know how to utilize chiropractic care properly, you can help yourself heal without the confusing, illogical methods of drug treatment.

I will continue on this topic in future posts.

Chiropractic Insights: You Are Your Health Care

(Yahoo chiropractor auburn ny 13021 )

We need insurance for emergencies and hospitalizations, but chronic health problems should not really be the burden it is on the health system.  It starts with us.

Chiropractic Teaches Us to Look Deeper at ...Digestive Health

[Yahoo Auburn Chiropractor 13021]  Chiropractic adjustments can do so much for health.  One example is perking up poor digestion.  Do you have a subluxation that interferes with the nerve function in the digestive tract?

What is a subluxation?  It means "partial dislocation," a non-complex term to describe a fixated spinal joint that   impairs nerve activity between the brain and body organs, muscles, blood vessels, etc.

Viscero-somato or Somato-vicero  (internal organ to structure or structure to internal organ....which came first the chicken or the egg)

A subluxation is part of a damaging process that weakens the immune system, so we need to take a closer look at how the body is functioning under the stresses of subluxations.

Originates at an Organ
A subluxation could mean the stress begins at an organ and sends stress signals to the spine thus impacting brain responses and causing tight muscles because they share the same nerve root at the center of the body.  If the stress starts at an organ it likely stems from a poor lifestyle habit such as poor diet.

Originates at the Structure
A subluxation could also be originating at the spine from a trauma that eventually makes the nerves change how an organ functions.

Digestion is a big topic in chiropractic because correcting one aspect isn't enough without correcting all aspects.   Adjustments alone don't work and dietary changes alone don't work.

If you haven't taken the Neuro-Digestive-Stress test in the office in the last 6 months, it's time to repeat it.  It is a hand written test that takes less than three minutes to complete.

When you retake your Neuro-Digestive-Stress test I will explain some important dietary issues that most people find confusing.  But I say it's time to clear it up and get people feeling better.

1) Meats, eggs and "Good" fats such as coconut oil, butter, lard, naturally occurring animal fats, etc. are the easiest foods to digest compared to carbs (plant foods).

2) Iron assimilation is entirely dependent on protein metabolism and not so much on iron tablets.

3) Fiber is the worst thing for digestion

I'll be ready to answer your questions.  See you at the table....the adjusting table.

Chiropractic Teaches Us to Look Deeper at Health Questions

Yahoo Auburn, NY chiropractor 13021

Chiropractic adjustments can be really awesome.  Most people feel positive changes very quickly.  That's great news to hear.  It also moves us to a different place when it comes to understanding health.  Because chiropractic looks at the body as a strong healing force.  The body has its own power.  Sadly we hear more negative messages about our own abilities to heal and handle life's stresses.

The latest news today has come out about cholesterol levels and our cholesterol levels are better than what they were 20 years ago.  And yes, statin use has increased 5 times since then.  That is not good news.  If we are relying more on chemical manipulation, we've learned nothing.

It pains me to hear this news story because cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease.  Inflammation is the biggest danger to heart disease.  And what's worse...people still worry about good cholesterol and bad cholesterol when there is no difference between the two.

These lies continue to persist and it breaks my heart to know people still believe them.

I had my blood tested last week to show my practice members that you can eat eggs and butter, which I do everyday.  I follow a Paleo/low carb lifestyle.  (Avoiding legumes, grains, and sugar).

My cholesterol is 201 ("they" want cholesterol to be below 200.) Personally, I think my cholesterol needs to be higher for better health and resistance.

My triglycerides are 66.  (under 150 is ideal.)

In chiropractic, the body is intelligent and we must not block the delivery of intelligent information through the nervous system.  Different stresses interfere with the transmission of appropriate nerve impulses to keep us alive.  When we understand how well equipped the body really is, we can question some of the health care practices that are considered mainstream and make a true educated decision for our own health freedom.

If you want more information come in on Thursday nights for a "Lied to Death" health seminar.  Call me to make your reservation.

Why Should You Visit a Chiropractor?

(Yahoo Auburn Chiropractor 13021)

Why should you visit a chiropractor?  What does it mean to receive a chiropractic adjustment?
What is a chiropractic adjustment?

These are three powerful questions that can change your life.
I feel chiropractic is an important way to change your health and your overall outlook on life.  This is not the usual What's wrong?/Let's fix it mind set we are so used to in the health care market. I hope to offer you something different that gives you insight and self empowerment.

Some people use chiropractic after something uncomfortable has happened.  We can also use chiropractic to keep you ready for life's ups and downs.

Why should you visit a chiropractor?
I won't give you the exhaustive list of "chiropractic conditions."  There really is no chiropractic condition other than the desire to keep your body in tip top condition.

We often wait until we are not in tip top condition, but that's another story.  I won't give you the supposed list that starts out with back pain, head aches, carpal tunnel syndrome, pain during pregnancy, sciatica, bed wetting, ear infections, etc. . . .

Symptoms or diagnoses are just ways to describe what you are experiencing at the moment. But we do like to feel good and I don't blame anyone for that.

It is a good idea to visit the chiropractor to fine tune the spine, skull, and other joint connections that are changing the way your body handles stress.  That is a broad definition.  We need you to tell your story so we can focus on the areas of deficit that we can help.

I can't be more specific than that because someone would prematurely decide it's not what they need.  I'd hate for them to lose out on a great experience.  Regardless of what  a person needs, giving the spinal/nerve system an adjustment to improve movement and nerve flow is never a waste of time.

What does it mean to receive a chiropractic adjustment?
This means someone is open to releasing the stagnated areas of the spine and other joints so improved function can be achieved.

What is a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is a specialized force applied to the spine/joints by hand or instrument in order to maintain critical communication between the brain and body.  Some immediate responses between the brain and the body involve relaxed muscles, deeper breathing, reduced inflammation, and a better state that invites efficient healing.

Here's a better question that is pretty easy to answer.
Why do I need better communication between the brain and body?

(1) For starters, so pain (which is necessary and useful) isn't prolonged as long as we know what contributed to the painful event.

(2) We don't want misaligned joints (subluxations) to continually add more trauma to the spine and nerves leading to bone damage and hypersensitive nerves.

(3) We don't want subluxations to interfere with or slow down the immune system which would lead to other health problems.

(4) Subluxations can leave us in a prolonged state of "Flight or Fight" which adds more damage to the body with lingering symptoms such as high blood pressure, rapid heart beat, poor lung capacity, sluggish digestion, irritable bowels, fatigue, weight gain, etc.

(5) We do it without drugs!

Chiropractic and Relationships

(Auburn, NY Chiropractor 13021)
Be a part of the connection.

Welcome to chiropractic where relationships are nurtured for their brilliance.

The power of touch is shared and spread around the world.  It can  reduce much of the world's suffering.

It all starts with relationships powering relationships.
 Chiropractic is the fuel.

Multiple relationships are in action:

1. The brain powers the body with nerve energy.

2. The spinal cord as an extension of the brain, shares the energy and sends responses back to the brain.

3. Movement and function are related.

4. Healing needs movement and movement needs healing.

5. Hands adjusting the  spine ignites the valuable relationship between the physical nervous system and the non-physical nervous system.

6. The adjustment's goals cannot be achieved without the teamwork approach of the chiropractor and the person receiving the adjustment.

7. A shared belief in the healing process helps expand the health of the world.

Remember the movie, Pay it Forward?

One person  influences another and each one does the same.

If chiropractic changes the way you make your mark on the world, all the folks you come into contact with are blessed by your talents.  Let them know how chiropractic  can do the same for them.

While some in the  world look at chiropractic under a critical microscope, calling it unscientific,  complaining that our current understanding of physiology still cannot explain its wonderful process, attributing its success to the placebo effect or calling it just a frivolous waste of money, we don't have to deny ourselves the gift it adds to our own lives.

Remember, each person is a gift.
Chiropractic is a gift.
We can do great things together.

When Health is Absent Disease Fills the Void

When health is absent disease fills the void.
What is pushing health out?

Disease isn't to blame.
Disease takes advantage when health is kicked aside.

From a chiropractic perspective we know when the nerve system is stressed it can't power the body.  It is unable to send correct messages between the brain and the body.

There are other physiological factors that push health out of the picture, but chiropractic is like the oxygen mask on an airplane.  Passengers must put on their own oxygen mask before helping others.

Body organs don't work without a nerve supply.

Chiropractic focuses on giving the nerve supply a fighting chance.  The spinal adjustment is a very unique and  necessary way to fine tune stressed nerves.

What pushes health out?

__ Trauma to the spine
__  Old traumas, car accidents, falls
__ Traumas during childbirth or infancy

__  Poor diet
__ Poor sleep
__ Poor time management, stress management
__  Toxic overload
__  Unconditioned, weak muscles

Bring health back and there's no room for disease.

How well do your adjustments work if you're in an acidic  state?
It's similar to pushing a wagon that has square wheels?  How about trying to push that wagon with square wheels up a hill?

Chiropractic adjustments reset the unwanted body/mind patterns that slow you down.
Unwanted body/mind patterns perpetuated by the spine promote disease.

We need to do all we can to make the resetting process of the adjustment easier and more efficient.

Another reason chiropractic helps you....managing emotions

Some may call it the placebo effect.  If you think your ailment will go away quickly, it will.  If you take an aspirin and believe it will work, it does.

Now a recent study of brain scans of people with pain show that certain presentations in the brain can predict if someone will develop chronic pain.

The good news: chiropractic helps the brain, and chiropractic helps people make gains in their emotional health.  Check it out.  And get adjusted.

You Really Want Health, Not Health Care

Let's be honest here, folks do not want health care, they want health.  What's the difference?

This post could go on for days, so I will try to keep it concise.

Why are we in such fear?

People are really fearful of losing their health insurance.  They must have some sort of security that little plastic card gives them.  They stay in stressful jobs because a new job prospect is bleak and they work more for the health insurance than the paycheck.

Why are we in such fear?
1.Because we don't know and understand our bodies.  Plain and simple.
2.We also have addictions that start in the soul and then transfers to the body.  This is not just about drugs and alcohol.  We are addicted to poisonous foods and the lies used to promote our buying habits.
3. We don't have real care for the soul when it comes to addictions.
4. We have addictions to prescriptions because we don't know our bodies.
5. We are fooled by the term "side effects" and convince ourselves it is the lesser of two evils.
6. We convinced ourselves to like being sick and this dependency just continues as a vicious cycle.

Are you still healthy when you have access to health care?

What do you get from a visit to the physician's office?  Vitals are recorded.  Blood work is recorded.  Symptoms are measured in some fashion.  A professional with experience explains how disease progresses and tells you what to expect. Sometimes you are told to take a medicine to change the numbers on your blood test.  Most of the time the numbers don't change and even if they improve, you don't feel better.

The best thing you can do with your physician visits is take the numbers that they record and use them as a guide.  Your health is determined by what you do outside of the office, not inside.

The cost of obtaining health is very reasonable
You don't need a prescription for the most basic ways of getting healthy.  Your everyday habits make you healthy or risk your health.  Changing your habits is up to you. Procedures are expensive, there's no argument there.  But, prevention needs to be utilized more than procedures.

Would long lines and worse service make you do healthier things?
I talk to people almost everyday who say they skipped the ER because they didn't want to wait all day to be seen.  It is usually on a weekend and then they wait to see me.  Obviously it wasn't an emergency.  We need to help people understand what really is an emergency.  By the time they come to see me they are somewhat improved and the feeling of panic has been long gone.  This is where knowing and understanding your body comes in.  It helps reduce panic.  When someone sees me after they got over the panic, we are always talking about knowing and understanding their bodies. It is a time of learning and a pep-talk about doing the things that are more nurturing to the body.  Getting out of pain is not the issue.  Getting through an acute illness is not the issue.  Knowing and understanding the body makes a huge difference.

Do you want to know and understand your body?
1.Visit me.
2. Get adjusted more often than you are getting adjusted now.
3.Take the neuro-digestive stress test every six months and learn how to translate your body language of stress.

What Do Short Cuts Really Mean?

CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO ENLARGE

You take a short cut when driving to avoid traffic.  Makes sense.
Do you take short cuts when cooking?  Sometimes.  You can make a cake with applesauce instead of oil.
Do you take short cuts when building a house.  Well, we know what happened to the three pigs!

Chiropractic is more than feeling better.  You can take a short cut anytime to feel better.
Chiropractic is about understanding our creation was no accident.  Body functions are very deliberate.  We understand that working with the body makes more sense than doing things that go against the natural laws of biology.

Being drug free is one of the best ways to understand this.  Avoiding drugs requires really knowing what it takes to make your body strong and efficient.

As your chiropractor, I thank you and salute you for taking the time to do things right.

Don't Settle for Unfinished

I wrote a letter to the editor to my profession's trade journal and the letter was published this week.  I have it here for you to read.

The most important message I want to convey is that I don't do just half the job.  I will do the most thorough job and it is you  .....  the customer.... who is welcome to  benefit from it.

Insurance only wants to do half the job.  They pay for care that is only half finished.
Insurance does not pay for wellness, maintenance, or chronic care.

For your well-being, I urge my practice members to choose the fullest form of health building.
I offer ongoing care with no limits at an affordable rate.
Experience the change it can do for your life!

We Can Offer a Better Option
Dear Editor:
What a sad realization that we, as a profession, bow down and cut our own throats in the name of Medicare acceptance. The authors of the Medicare article did a fine job teaching the reader the requirements of Medicare. But why do we accept this? Shame on our chiropractic leaders years ago who let it be so. Shame on us now for not fighting for change.
Medicare's awful description is not subluxation reduction. It is temporary patchwork. I can get the same results with a shot of vodka. We've trained a population to seek chiropractic only when the tab is paid by someone else.
To make matters worse, the demanded documentation is worthless. There is nothing more boring than chiropractic notes describing a sore joint. Our notes should be documenting the miracles that happen when a sleeping nervous system is unlocked from its self- induced physiological prison.
I should be thankful my seniors come in for drug-free health-building, but they never experience true health-building. They get a few cracks on the spine that barely relieve the true nature of their nervous-system dysfunction. I don't even treat my spine that way.
Yet in the same issue as the Medicare article, we see a grand story about "Dr. Phil." He gets adjusted twice a week because consistency counts when it comes to receiving adjustments to combat a stressful world. We need to teach our older population the truth about their own healing and offer them a better option than Medicare.

When Did We Give Up Logic?

I came across this post about endometriosis being healed through the implementation of the paleo diet.  This article isn't just about endometriosis but about ignoring your natural inherent ways to function.  It is about covering up your own goodness, your original state.

Who knows when Alison began losing her original self?  Who knows when she began living an artificial life?  But isn't that what we all need to ask ourselves.  "When did we begin to live in a fake world?"

Fake emotions.

Fake foods.

Fake security.

Fake ideas.

Faking our lives pretending chemicals are just as good as God's creation.

When did we give up ownership over logic and move our trust outside of ourselves?

When did we give up thinking for ourselves?

When did we get lost in our symptoms focusing in on a microcosom of dysfunction.

When did we think the end of the river has nothing to do with the source of the river?

Read Alison's story here.

It's more than disease or dis-ease.  It is about how we view ourselves.

And then get over to the table....the adjusting table. We need to reclaim ourselves.

After the Stress

Alternate titles for this article:

When the doctor has troubles

Easy come easy go

So I let a mental stressor take over my life during the month of January.  For my poor family, I was not that much fun at home, especially in the evenings when we were all tired at the end of the day.  I worked through my issue and it has been a memory for quite some time.  That was in January and it is now March.

The problem is the after effects.  I let my diet go.  I let my workouts go.  I began staying up too late at night and  found it more difficult to get up early enough to do an adequate work out.  The diet is probably the easier one to fix.  I resumed better eating with a sincere commitment to myself.

I began taking the Metagenics supplement, Phyto-Multi and this gave me fast improvements. I slept better and had more energy.  I still have to make an effort to quit all my activities at 9 PM and just get to bed.  I am getting better at that, as well.

My workouts were probably affected the most and that is a little disheartening.  For two weeks at Christmas I allowed myself to eat anything I wanted and that didn't help when the new year rolled around.   When your carbohydrate intake is too high, you cannot work out with your usual intensity.  I always notice it the very next day after a high carbohydrate meal.  I get tired very quickly and my muscles give out much too soon.  It almost feels as if I am coming down with a cold.   (What's the big deal with carbs?)  (Whole grains are not your friend)

It's also easy to correct if  too much time hasn't elapsed.  If you lay off your work out for about two weeks you will have to start from scratch all over again.  That's how quickly we lose muscle tone.  If I go three days without a work out, I have to use lighter weights and take more rests.

During this time off the routine someone can easily come down with a cold or flu like illness and once that is over it takes even more time to get back into balance.

Lesson learned.

It isn't easy to get back up to speed.   I am blaming it on boredom with my current collection of workout DVDs. Often we blame aging and old injuries. But should we?

Before the thaw of winter finally comes by spring, I will be back to my usual routine.  I'm fed up with the dragging feeling.

So join me in turning over a new leaf ...or shamrock.
Don't forget to keep up with your adjustments.  And remember, adjustments don't work when the interference is greater.  Poor diet, lousy exercise, no sleep. dehydration, mineral deficiencies are all terrible interferences.

Stress effects have a prolonged effect.  That is why people are depressed, overweight, diabetic, having issues with metabolic syndrome.  The spine develops calcium deposits.  Muscles become spasmed. Scar tissue takes hold.  The brain loses healing connections with the body.

But not in our office.  We are dedicated to health building.

See you at the table...the adjusting table.

Auburn's Community Connections

I was one of the vendors at the YMCA health fair yesterday.  The hospital was providing blood testing services.  It was mentioned in this Citizen article here.  The YMCA holds a number of wellness events each year.

While I was there, I promoted the Change Your Plate Change Your Pain program.  This includes a quick survey that shows how the body is responding to dietary stress and I teach folks how to make healthier changes.

Margaret Hartman, a licensed occupational therapist who teaches deep water fitness provided information on how to add more balance to your day.  She was talking to health fair attendees about  recognizing how they react to various sensory stimuli that may cause them to spiral into a negative pattern of behavior, poor eating, and other quality of life issues in their relationships, ability to work, etc.

Connecshen Acpuncture was also there.  Susan Sheldon and I  were talking to another attendee how taking care of yourself is more than making it to your doctor appointments.  It can mean having to quit your job because the job demands are so out of balance that the immune system is weakened by lack of sleep, high cortisol output, etc.  Receiving a pay check is not as important when there is personal conflict due to unethical business practices, overwork, bullying co-workers, or an unsafe environment.

I ran into Kelly Cleason-Kelly, who graduated from my alma mater, NYCC.  She offers a free book on making food a complementary part of your lifestyle rather than an enemy that you are always at war with.  Her approach doesn't focus on restricting calories or banning a certain food.  She shows you how nourishing your body also nourishes your life's meaning.  CLICK HERE for her book.

I also met another upbeat lady, Michelle Dart who has devoted her nutrition expertise to diabetes education.  View her website here.  Something she didn't tell me is that she is an author of nursing textbook.  Look at it here.

Deb Turner is a local partner with Seniors Helping Seniors, an organization that matches up seniors who help each other.  Ms. Turner is very inspirational to talk to.  She shared with me how valuable people are and this program helps older people remain purposeful in their community.  The founder of Seniors Helping Seniors worked with Mother Teresa in India for 14 years.  Ms. Turner is continuing a great lineage of handing down the gift of relationships.

Shelley Augustine is a Community Services Representative for Home Instead.  She emphasized the importance of older people feeling confident in their own homes.  After all, your home is your castle.  She was very cheerful and knows how to make a person feel good.  She boosted me up when she told me she reads my monthly Citizen columns!

I talked with fellow chiropractor, John Lesch.  We were discussing how the insurance industry has restricted chiropractic coverage which gives the public a limited view of chiropractic's health benefits.  Without our educational efforts, the public we deal with will miss out on important healing information.  We are dedicated to making sure our clients are well educated and tuned into their own healing power.

There is so much going on in our small city.  Please share these people's names with those who would benefit from their knowledge.

See you at the table...the adjusting table.

Chiropractic Saved Me

My x-ray in 1995 was similar to this
one.  The curve was reversed from
a head injury as a child in 1971.  I
was forming bone spurs in my mid-
twenties.  I had a 20-30 year head
start on arthritis.

This resembles the beginning of

very debilitating fibromyalgia and

other pain syndromes.  Also,

studies of mild brain trauma are

showing a correlation with
depression and bipolar disorder,

especially in teens who play sports.

It wasn't back pain or a headache
that brought me to chiropractic.  In
fact, I was pain free when I
received my first adjustment.

I had a condition more painful than a physical injury
because it was not physically obvious.  I had a certain
arrogance that would have taken my health away if I
hadn't been exposed to chiropractic thinking 17 years
ago.

I was arrogant about health and healing because I
was young. I took my health for granted because I
thought nothing would make me sick.  I thought I
knew how to take care of myself.  Boy, was I wrong!

I  worked with people who were challenged by the
label of mental illness. They were told they had a
brain imbalance and they needed a steady supply of
brain altering drugs to keep them "normal" by
society's rules.

No one proved they had brain problems.  No one
measured brain improvements to check if  the drugs
really helped.  No one gave them an option to stop
taking these drugs.   It was all one sided and my
clients were actually getting worse.
If you or someone you know
has suffered under the psychiatric system
become a member of the

I started teaching a few of my clients about stress
reduction techniques and dietary changes.  Much to
my surprise, they were improving and gaining  self
confidence.  While I was addressing their physical
health I began to see how the state of the body has a
great deal of influence on mental function.

I realized my job as a therapist was a joke. If the
body isn't healthy, the mind stays stuck (more like
trapped).

After prayerful consideration to change careers, I
looked at chiropractic.  I had no pain or health
problems, but I volunteered in a chiropractor's office
to learn about this drug free approach.

Not much of a science buff, I was awe struck when
my new chiropractors (a married couple) taught me
how the nervous system controls every cell, organ,
body function, thought and emotion.  The nervous
system is also considerably affected by the condition
of the spine.

It was also a major revelation when I learned how
damage progresses for years but we don't feel it.

They showed me my X-rays and explained how
mechanical disruptions of the spine adds incredible
stress to the brain and spinal cord.  A sample X-ray
above is very similar to my own X-rays.

This was a big mind shift to me.  I thought spinal cord
damage was paralysis like Christopher Reeve.  I
never considered milder forms of damage could have
such an impact on disease and mental status.

If I never addressed this 17 years ago, I would have
suffered from a gradual and progressive degenerative
process. Pain doesn't show up until damage is fairly
permanent.  Combine it with a stressful life style and
poor nutrition and chronic disease takes hold.

I also learned chiropractic gave mental patients great
results in the early 1900's before drug therapy
became the monopolizing treatment.  It is now
showing great promise for addiction recovery.

I often think about my therapy clients who felt
helpless and defective.  Their nervous system/life
force was stifled and no one offered them the release
chiropractic can provide.

Chiropractic is not about pain relief.  Pain is  part of
being human.  Chiropractic is about knowledge,
personal power and being given options.

My first interest is in mental wellness.
Inside the mind are the sparks that ignite great
ideas.  The body is the engine that allows us to push our ideas forward.
They work as a team.

In my work as a mental health counselor I saw a serious separation

between this awesome team.
When physical health is not properly addressed, it clouds the mind.
The body often
gives us important clues.

Chiropractic rejoins the mind and body in an extraordinary
way as the adjustment  enhances how the nervous system
 fosters innate intelligence.

Thanks for being curious.
It means you are  looking for something new to try.
You are in the process of a personal evolution.
It's a superb journey!

I can't convey much more of it on a website.  Come to a health talk, come in for
an appointment, or let's chat on a phone-coaching session.
