Chiropractic adjustments nourish the soul and balance emotions? I am a big believer that emotional stress and over-analytical thinking is damaging to health. Heavy thoughts make it harder for the body to refresh. The body is robbed of energy that would be better used for healing. We live in a stressful world, but we don't need to let stress have the upper hand.
When I wrote December's article for the Citizen, the Sandy Hook shootings had just occurred and it caused painful grief to most of us who don't think like perpetrators. Where does this kind of illness begin? A great deal festers when someone lacks meaningful human contact. There are other physical issues with brain development and chemical irritants, but we all need love, encouragement, and a basic moral code to live by.
In my office, I will always offer chiropractic as an opportunity for human connection, warmth, and a launching pad for anyone who wants to think differently about their outlook on life.
