You Really Want Health, Not Health Care

Let's be honest here, folks do not want health care, they want health.  What's the difference?

This post could go on for days, so I will try to keep it concise.

Why are we in such fear?

People are really fearful of losing their health insurance.  They must have some sort of security that little plastic card gives them.  They stay in stressful jobs because a new job prospect is bleak and they work more for the health insurance than the paycheck.

Why are we in such fear?
1.Because we don't know and understand our bodies.  Plain and simple.
2.We also have addictions that start in the soul and then transfers to the body.  This is not just about drugs and alcohol.  We are addicted to poisonous foods and the lies used to promote our buying habits.
3. We don't have real care for the soul when it comes to addictions.
4. We have addictions to prescriptions because we don't know our bodies.
5. We are fooled by the term "side effects" and convince ourselves it is the lesser of two evils.
6. We convinced ourselves to like being sick and this dependency just continues as a vicious cycle.

Are you still healthy when you have access to health care?

What do you get from a visit to the physician's office?  Vitals are recorded.  Blood work is recorded.  Symptoms are measured in some fashion.  A professional with experience explains how disease progresses and tells you what to expect. Sometimes you are told to take a medicine to change the numbers on your blood test.  Most of the time the numbers don't change and even if they improve, you don't feel better.

The best thing you can do with your physician visits is take the numbers that they record and use them as a guide.  Your health is determined by what you do outside of the office, not inside.

The cost of obtaining health is very reasonable
You don't need a prescription for the most basic ways of getting healthy.  Your everyday habits make you healthy or risk your health.  Changing your habits is up to you. Procedures are expensive, there's no argument there.  But, prevention needs to be utilized more than procedures.

Would long lines and worse service make you do healthier things?
I talk to people almost everyday who say they skipped the ER because they didn't want to wait all day to be seen.  It is usually on a weekend and then they wait to see me.  Obviously it wasn't an emergency.  We need to help people understand what really is an emergency.  By the time they come to see me they are somewhat improved and the feeling of panic has been long gone.  This is where knowing and understanding your body comes in.  It helps reduce panic.  When someone sees me after they got over the panic, we are always talking about knowing and understanding their bodies. It is a time of learning and a pep-talk about doing the things that are more nurturing to the body.  Getting out of pain is not the issue.  Getting through an acute illness is not the issue.  Knowing and understanding the body makes a huge difference.

Do you want to know and understand your body?
1.Visit me.
2. Get adjusted more often than you are getting adjusted now.
3.Take the neuro-digestive stress test every six months and learn how to translate your body language of stress.

See you at the table...the adjusting table.

If the patient feels comfortable sharing memories, spend time looking at photographs of family and friends. Compile a scrapbook of the patient's life if the person wishes to review his life, relationships and accomplishments. Thanks a lot.

Time is the most precious thing that a cancer patient has after his diagnosis. Bring family members to visit the cancer patient if the person's strength allows and according to the care facility regulations. Don't dwell on the diagnosis but take the time to enjoy his company by talking about ordinary things, such as how the family is doing at the present time. Thanks for sharing.
